I hardly ever talk about sex on this blog, but for some reason, the other day the words of my seventh grade Personal Development (that was basically Sex Ed) teacher rang in my head. She basically gave us two rules for purity:
- Nothing below the neck.
- Keep your clothes on.
Now, at the time, being the innocent little twelve-year-old that I was, I blindly accepted this advice. Not that there were any temptations or anything, mind you, especially for an unattractive chubby Asian boy growing up in a vast snowfield of Caucasians.
But now that I think back on it as an adult, I realize that this advice was horrible. First of all, what on earth can happen between your neck and your waist that’s so terrible? Belly button penetration? Some light nipple sucking never hurt anyone.
Even worse than that, though, is that neither of these rules prevents you from having oral sex. Unless of course she meant both you and your partner should abide by these rules. But she seemed to only be talking to us, which means that according to these rules, we can put as much stuff in our mouths as we want. As long as we keep our clothes on. And there’s plenty of room for shenanigans, even fully clothed. Trust me.
